I think there isn't a fat girl alive who hasn't experienced this, and won't be bolstered by your strong words lovely! <br />www.curvesandcurl.co.ukHayleyShttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12701849741025656180noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6200054564663122878.post-81146189076278530252016-05-31T04:21:08.339-07:002016-05-31T04:21:08.339-07:00Oh thank you for your kind words! I feel like I can relate ...Strong, courageous post! I feel like I can relate in an odd way - I'm at the opposite end of the weight spectrum - I have a very fast metabolism, and I find it hard to keep weight on. When I was in my teens and my twenties, people (especially people who didn't know me well - or at all), would often find a way to drop in a comment that I perhaps needed to eat more (I'm always eating), or that I was a 'skin flint', some of the comments were rather insinuative and disgraceful. They got to me for awhile, but eventually I went "Why should I be made to feel bad about my weight! I'm gonna own this, and I refuse to let those comments get to me". And that's what I did, from that point on. Awhile back, one of my bridesmaids was talking about losing weight for my wedding, and I stopped her mid-sentence, and said to her "Ok, I'm not sure if you've noticed, but I don't choose my friends by their weight - I like you because you're awesome, you're kind, and you make me laugh - I don't care what you weigh." You can get though this - ignore those nasty comments and channel the feelings into creating an amazing life for yourself :) ♡Genevievehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04709831292524064648noreply@blogger.com
