Valentines is right around the corner (ehhh, tomorrow) and we islanders tend to go all out! The day is usually celebrated with various restaurants offering Valentines day breakfasts and lunches and dinners and with shows and festivals. What I love most about the day however, is the dressing up. I don't usually celebrate since I believe the day is mainly for couples (single) and lovers (not in love) but I enjoy partaking in the inevitable explosion of reds and pinks the day bring. I bought a lovely 'Valentine' red velvet top from New Look to wear to my school's Valentines red and white extravaganza. It was a big hit and I received many compliments on it. I paired it with blue jeggings and burgundy flats and a gold and black zip belt all from New Look.
